Ho'oulu 'AinaHo'oulu 'Aina addresses the health needs of Kalihi Valley by strengthening the connection between people and land. Through four interwoven program areas, the community comes together to create a 100 acre upland resource of forest, food, knowledge, spirituality, and health activity. As we restore this land to health and productivity, we learn that healing is reciprocal.
Farrington High SchoolGovernor Wallace Rider Farrington High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school accredited through 2016-2017 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Serving the Kalihi community for over 75 years, Farrington consistently has had one of the largest student body and staff populations of any high school in Hawai’i. It also shares common demographics with the nine elementary and two middle schools in the Farrington Complex.

Ka'ewai Elementary SchoolKa`ewai Elementary School is located adjacent to Kam IV Housing and serves a predominately disadvantaged student population, many of whom are from immigrant families. Founded in 1956, the school has a history of dedicated service to the community and is noted for its caring for all students. A veteran team of professionals works diligently to provide rigorous and relevant learning activities for students.
Marine Corps Base HawaiiThe mission of Marine Corps Base (MCB) Hawaii is to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals, and their families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation. The installation provides certain land, air, sea, and amphibious training capabilities to enable Marines and other U.S. and foreign military services and non-federal agencies to prepare across the continuum of potential operations, from large-scale joint operations to humanitarian relief.
